Exam Pathway (up to 80% Seat distribution)

(1) Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)

(2) Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level(12th)

Non-Exam Pathway (up to 20% Seat distribution)

(1) Board Merit

(a) Minimum 80% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)

(b) Minimum 80% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level(12th)

(2) JEE Main Scores

(a) Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)

(b) Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level(12th)

c) JEE Mains cut off for applying for a UPES B.Tech program is 60.

(3) – CLAT Merit / L-SAT India Merit

(a) Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)

(b) Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level(12th)

(c) CLAT ranking up to 5000 / L-SAT India score of 60 percentile or above

Date of Test: 29th April – 05th May 2019 (CBT)

Test Window: Date & Time to choose from website from 1st April, 2019 onwards

Duration: 3 Hours

Last date to apply for B. Tech exam Category is 25th April 2019.

This is only for the exam absentees.

Admit Card (to be downloaded from the UPES website)

On the basis of information in the Application form, admit card of provisionally eligible candidates will be uploaded on the University website www.upes.ac.in . Candidates are required to download the admit card accordingly. The duly completed downloaded admit card with photograph affixed (duly attested) in the space provided will have to be produced at the allotted test center. Candidates without the admit card or card without the photograph will NOT be permitted to take the test.
Age Criteria

Only candidates whose Date of Birth falls on or after October 1, 1997, are eligible to apply for admission. The date of birth recorded in the Secondary Education Board Certificate will be taken as authentic.
